How to Help
"Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of GOD belongs to such as these." Mark 10:14
In the beginning...
The story of All God’s Children (AGC,ltd) began in 1988 when Christian youth group leaders traveled to Honduras to seek out mission opportunities for young adults. A chance, but providential meeting with a young woman sheltering a handful of abandoned children captured their hearts, and compelled them to establish a nonprofit organization dedicated to the orphaned and disadvantaged children of Honduras.
In the early years, the ministry of AGC helped to build and create a home for these children. At Hogar de Niños Nazareth, a refuge of care and compassion in one of the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere, the children (ninos) were given food, shelter, medical care, spiritual training and love. Yet, the challenges facing an increasing number of children led to an ever increasing need for support. A sponsorship program was developed to match caring donors with individual children, and work teams of adults and teens traveled to Hogar to construct and improve living facilities.
The story of AGC continues to unfold today in even greater dimensions. Presently, almost 200 children at Hogar depend on the support of this organization. New opportunities have led to staff additions, vocational training for young men and women, better education and an overall heightened quality of life. Throughout all of this, AGC has been an instrument of change, opportunity and Christian mercy.
Please consider what role you could play, what blessings you could share in this most deserving cause. AGC is governed by a local U.S. Board of Directors. All donations are fully tax deductible with every sponsorship dollar going directly to Hogar de Niños Nazareth.
